Wetaga International Pharma and Agribusiness PLC (Wetaga)
Before 1991/92(E.C) the Co-founders of WETAGA, Ato Getnet Nigatu and Ato Desta Hido have been working with their own individual veterinary pharmacies independently for about 20 years. With the vision of development together and creating job opportunity to the public, they amalgamated their assets and invested on Wataga International Pharma and Agribusiness PLC. This actually created more than 50 jobs for fresh graduate professionals.

Wetaga International Pharma and Agribusiness PLC (Wetaga)
was established in October 2013, with head quartered in Dilla town at first and then transferred to Addis Ababa, with the objectives of import of animal health inputs and agrochemicals to be supplied to Southern Oromia, Somali and SNNP Regions in particular and throughout the country in general.

Wetaga
supplies inputs to both agrarian smallholders in the highlands and pastoralists in the lowlands of these regions.

Wetaga
has a total of nine (9) its own retail outlets in RIPA areas and outside and supplies for more than 50 other PVPs operating in Dilla, Chelelekitu, Yirga Chefe, Bulehora (Guji), Soyama, Yabello, Arba Minch and Karat zuria kebele. The four wholesale branches in Negele, Jinka, Dilla and Moyale covers the supply of medicine and equipment for the private veterinary pharmacies in the surrounding ares.
Currently, Wetaga has a partnership project with the GOAL-Ethiopia aimed at strengthening the distribution and retail system for animal health inputs in RIPA-S areas in the selected woredas of South Oromia, Somali and SNNP regional states and increase demand for quality animal health inputs and services
